This hospital is part of a respected Catholic health system serving the Midwest region. The facility features a Level II NICU with approximately 1,600 deliveries per year and offers comprehensive women's health services with strong multidisciplinary team support and collaboration with certified nurse-midwives and MFM specialists from the University of Cincinnati.
Opportunity:
Medical Director - OB/GYN
Job Details:
• Provide full-time clinical care including office visits, surgery, and deliveries
• Lead strategic and programmatic development of the women's health program
• Guide clinical development and expansion of women's health service line on Cincinnati's east side
• Collaborate with executive leadership and multidisciplinary teams to enhance quality outcomes and patient satisfaction
• Mentor physicians and advanced practice providers to foster excellence and teamwork
• Work closely with certified nurse-midwives and MFM support specialists
• Maintain balanced Monday-Friday schedule with dedicated leadership time for administrative duties
• Participate in 1:6 call rotation with standard weekend coverage
• Board certification in OB/GYN required
• Active Ohio license required (or willingness to obtain)
• Minimum 5 years of OB/GYN experience required
• Leadership experience highly preferred
• Clean malpractice and license history required
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report required within 30 days
