Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $1940 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health and no current placement allowed at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Need to be able to titrate drips if possible.

Preferred Credentials: - Critical Care Course preferred.

Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric medical/telemetry patients; higher-than-average cardiac population including chest pain rule-outs, CHF exacerbations, pre/post cardiac cath patients, and many of the hospital’s alcohol detox patients. - Drips used on the unit: Cardizem, Nitro, and Heparin; no pressors. - Uses Alaris pumps and Hercules beds. - Occasional JP drains and other standard post-operative drains, stable chest tubes, ports, and PICC lines. - Oxygen support is limited to nasal cannula; chronic BiPAP/CPAP patients may be seen, but acute respiratory needs are transferred. - Occasional chronic tracheostomy patients; no vents. - Night shift charge takes an assignment.
