Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $1970 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 6 months within the last 6 months.

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience; must be recent, within the past 6 months. Must have unit/specialty experience in the past 6 months. Must be able to read strips.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Unit Details: COVID unit. General and ortho trauma stepdown unit. Chest tubes, drains, wound vacs, little to no traction patients. Amio and Cardizem titrate down only. Peritoneal dialysis patients are on the floor, but contract dialysis handles them. CPAP possible. Uses GE monitors with a central monitoring station tech to read. Uses Spectralink phones (call light attached to the phone). 1:1 PCT sitters are utilized for confused patients, and soft restraints are used for line pulling.

Shift & Scheduling: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period; for days, weekends are Saturday and Sunday. One major and one minor holiday.

Floating Requirements: First to float; floats to MedSurg Tele C5 and B2C.
