Physical Therapist – Orthopedic Outpatient Care | Coconut Creek, FL

Location: Coconut Creek, FL

Position: Full-Time Physical Therapist

Salary: $85,000–$90,000 per year, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Patient Schedule: Approximately 1–2 patients per hour

Setting: Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapy Office

Position Summary

We are seeking a Physical Therapist in Coconut Creek, FL with previous outpatient experience to provide orthopedic rehabilitation for patients recovering from injury, surgery, and musculoskeletal conditions.

The PT will manage patient care from the initial evaluation through discharge. Daily work includes identifying physical limitations, providing appropriate treatment, and helping patients improve the strength and movement needed for work, exercise, and routine activities.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial physical therapy evaluations
• Assess strength, joint mobility, balance, gait, and functional movement
• Establish treatment goals based on patient needs and clinical findings
• Provide therapeutic exercise and orthopedic rehabilitation
• Perform manual therapy when clinically appropriate
• Progress treatment as patients regain function
• Review home exercise programs and activity recommendations
• Reassess patients throughout the course of care
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Communicate relevant updates with referring healthcare providers

Qualifications

• Current Florida Physical Therapist License
• DPT Degree or MSPT Degree
• Previous outpatient physical therapy experience
• Experience treating orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
