Press Instructor
What We Are Looking For
The role of the Press Instructor is to educate customers on the operation of Manroland sheetfed presses, color measurement devices, and related peripherals to ensure equipment is operating as designed while delivering optimal customer satisfaction.
Customer Service is the cornerstone of our business, and the Press Instructor is expected to deliver personalized, consistent, competent, and proactive service support. The Press Instructor must always exhibit professionalism while representing the company and supporting customer success.
What You Will Do
- Provide training and instruction for customers on Manroland sheetfed press equipment and related technologies.
- Support successful commissioning and operator instruction during press installations.
- Train customers on print color management and optimization of makeready processes.
- Perform efficient troubleshooting during print application service calls.
- Communicate professionally with customers at all organizational levels regarding press operation, performance, and productivity improvements.
- Stay current with print application training, industry trends, and the latest software innovations.
- Promote training, consulting, software, and performance improvement services to customers.
- Provide support related to consumables and best practices for optimal press performance.
- Assist with onsite productivity evaluations and process improvement initiatives.
What You Need
- Travel: Continually (67% to 100% of the time). Candidates should reside within the Central United States and be located within a one-hour drive of a major airport. Preferred states include, but are not limited to: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, and Wisconsin.
- 3 to 5 years of experience operating and/or training on Manroland sheetfed presses.
- Strong knowledge of computers, including Windows, macOS, and networking.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-starter with the ability to resolve complex technical and operational challenges.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to train audiences at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects and action items simultaneously.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to use and calibrate job-related testing and measuring equipment.
- Ability to follow detailed service manuals, operating procedures, and training documentation. Familiarity with basic hand tools is required.

Pay Range
$65,000 - $75,000
