Director of Labor and Delivery

St. David’s Medical Center in Austin, TX is seeking a Director of Labor and Delivery RN to lead our busy women’s services unit. This role oversees clinical operations, staffing, budgeting, and quality/safety initiatives to ensure exceptional mother-baby outcomes. The Director mentors and develops nurse leaders and staff, drives evidence-based practice, ensures regulatory compliance, and collaborates with physicians and ancillary teams. The ideal candidate is an experienced L&D nurse leader with strong communication, team-building, and change-management skills who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
