Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2050 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked at a facility in this program in the last 9 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Clinicians who live within 51-75 miles from the facility will be considered local.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Prefer 2 years, but willing to consider 1.5 years of M/S experience for quality candidates. Heparin drips preferred. Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details: Adult patient population. Internal medicine patients with a wide range of medical diagnoses, including diabetes complications, COPD exacerbation, ETOH/drug withdrawal, renal failure, and cellulitis. Floor status patients. Some video monitoring rooms, sitter rooms, ceiling lifts, and bariatric rooms. The average ratios for our floor is 1:5 for days and 1:6 for nights; however, our day shifters do have to go up to 6 at times and our nights shifters at 7. Charge nurse and supervisor on every shift.

Shift & Scheduling: Call required. Ability to work assigned weekends. Work 50% of holidays that fall within contract.

Special Requests: RTO not granted for holidays but will work with traveler on which holidays they want to work to meet their 50% requirement.

Floating Requirements: Required to float to MS and MS/Tele.
