Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists by delivering therapy treatments according to established care plans, employing hands-on techniques tailored to patient needs.
• Monitor patient progress and responses during therapy sessions, promptly reporting any significant changes or feedback to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Thoroughly document each therapy session in our electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining accurate patient records.
• Guide and motivate patients through prescribed exercises and rehabilitative activities, fostering an environment of encouragement to maximize their recovery potential.
• Maintain all therapy equipment, ensuring it is clean, safe, and properly arranged for use during sessions, adhering to established infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with our clinical team to discuss patient progress and treatment adjustments, contributing to interdisciplinary meeting discussions that enhance overall care quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with senior patients recovering from various injuries or surgeries, as well as those dealing with chronic pain or mobility issues. Qualifications

• An active California Physical Therapist Assistant license is mandatory.
