Rebound Physical Therapy, located in the vibrant community of Orange, California, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. In this full-time, onsite position, you will play a critical role in enhancing the quality of life for our patients by delivering personalized care and supporting the rehabilitation process under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists.

Work Environment
As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Rebound Physical Therapy, you will work in a state-of-the-art hospital facility in Orange, California. Our typical working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility as needed to accommodate patient schedules.
Key Responsibilities
In your role as a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will be entrusted with a variety of crucial responsibilities, including:
- Collaborating with Physical Therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving patients' mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
- Guiding and assisting patients during therapeutic exercises, stretches, and various activities designed to relieve pain and promote physical well-being.
- Educating patients about effective body mechanics, appropriate exercise techniques, and at-home exercise regimens essential for facilitating recovery.
- Administering therapeutic modalities, including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, while ensuring compliance with best practice standards.
- Monitoring, documenting, and tracking patient progress, including important metrics such as range of motion, strength gains, and functional improvements.
- Preparing treatment areas and maintaining equipment to ensure a clean, organized, and effective therapeutic environment.
- Contributing to a positive and supportive atmosphere by providing emotional encouragement and motivation to patients throughout their rehabilitation journeys.
- Following ethical standards and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
