Full job description

Our client, a leading organization in facility management and operations, is seeking an Operating Engineer 3 to join their team. As an Operating Engineer 3, you will be part of the Facilities Maintenance Department supporting the operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Operating Engineer 3

Location:Dallas, TX

Pay Range: $34 to 36/Hr

What's the Job?

  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment across all systems.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Fire, and Life Safety systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor and record system readings, making adjustments as necessary to maintain efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, including hazardous materials handling and workplace safety standards.
  • Oversee the quality and cost of work performed by external contractors and vendors.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 5-7 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • EPA 608 Type II Certification.
  • Proficiency with computer applications such as Word and Excel.
