Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating and developing individualized treatment plans that focus on enhancing mobility, strength, and daily living activities for patients.
• Guide patients through specific therapeutic exercises, stretches, and modalities aimed at relieving pain and improving physical function.
• Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and body mechanics, empowering them to actively participate in their recovery process.
• Administer modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, or therapeutic heat/cold therapies, under the supervision of the Physical Therapist, ensuring patient safety.
• Document patient progress meticulously, including tracking improvements in strength, range of motion, and activity levels for ongoing assessment and adjustment of treatments.
• Prepare therapy areas by maintaining cleanliness and order of equipment, ensuring all necessary supplies are available to support effective sessions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care, optimizing patient outcomes and sharing insights for coordinated rehabilitation efforts.
• Provide empathetic support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, creating a nurturing environment that fosters motivation and trust.

Qualifications

• An Associate's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Compensation and Benefits
