Position Overview
Gotham Enterprises Ltd is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center located in Jackson, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating and developing individualized treatment plans that focus on enhancing mobility, strength, and daily living activities for patients.
- Guide patients through specific therapeutic exercises, stretches, and modalities aimed at relieving pain and improving physical function.
- Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and body mechanics, empowering them to actively participate in their recovery process.
- Administer modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, or therapeutic heat/cold therapies, under the supervision of the Physical Therapist, ensuring patient safety.
- Document patient progress meticulously, including tracking improvements in strength, range of motion, and activity levels for ongoing assessment and adjustment of treatments.
- Prepare therapy areas by maintaining cleanliness and order of equipment, ensuring all necessary supplies are available to support effective sessions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care, optimizing patient outcomes and sharing insights for coordinated rehabilitation efforts.
- Provide empathetic support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, creating a nurturing environment that fosters motivation and trust.
- Uphold high professional and ethical standards, safeguarding patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
- An Associate's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current and valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

- Capable of executing therapeutic exercises and techniques competently, under a Physical Therapist's guidance.

Compensation and Benefits
