Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Successful placements here have worked in a very busy hospital. - CVT postoperative experience and LVAD experience are preferred.

Special Requests: - Parking costs $15+/day for daily parking; monthly passes for on- and off-campus garages/lots range from $95 - $120. - Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed. - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. - Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Unit Details: - Patient population includes single- and multi-organ transplant patients, including patients with LVADs. - Drips are not titrated; dosing is based on Rituxan and Thymo. - Common drips include cardiac drips. - Equipment includes BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow devices. - A telemetry/monitor technician is available, but RNs read strips. - Training includes assessment using Dopplers for MAPP.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - Self-scheduling is based on unit needs, and flexibility is required. - Holiday coverage is required. - No call.

Floating Requirements: - First to float to like units when needed.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days. Maximum consecutive days off: 5

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
