Full job description
Special Education Teacher on a 36-week contract in Windsor, Connecticut. Earn up to $58 per hour with premium pay and comprehensive benefits. Responsible for delivering specialized instruction, developing IEPs, and collaborating with staff and families to support student success.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction to students with diverse needs in a school setting
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services provided
Adhere to school policies, state regulations, and best practices in special education
Qualifications:
CT Special Education Teacher license
Minimum 1 year of experience in special education teaching
Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
Classroom management skills
Familiarity with school-based health and safety protocols
Ability to work full-time days
Background check clearance
Strong communication skills
Ability to work in a school setting
Flexibility to start ASAP through June 14th
