Cardiology Veterinary Technician Assistant

Join the Cardiology Specialty Team at Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care (PVESC) and support advanced diagnostics, treatment, and patient care in a collaborative specialty environment.

You ll work alongside board-certified veterinary cardiologists and the cardiology team to provide comprehensive care from cardiac imaging and diagnostics to treatment and client education.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday Thursday or Tuesday Friday, 8:00 AM 6:30 PM. Some holidays required.

What You ll Do

As a Cardiology Veterinary Technician Assistant, you ll work closely with our board-certified cardiologist to support patients from diagnosis through follow-up. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with medications and treatments
• Supporting diagnostics, lab work, imaging, and CT scans
• Assisting with cardiology appointments, patient flow, and scheduling
• Maintaining accurate medical records and treatment documentation
• Communicating with and educating clients
• Collaborating with Internal Medicine, Surgery, Radiology, and other teams
• Providing compassionate, patient-centered care

What We re Looking For

• Veterinary Assistant with veterinary experience
• Specialty and/or cardiology experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Familiarity with EzyVet or SmartFlow is a plus
• Positive attitude and commitment to compassionate care
