The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional flexibility required to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed Physical Therapists in the implementation of individualized treatment plans, which may include therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to improve patient mobility and strength.
  • Guide patients through various therapeutic exercises and mobility-enhancing activities, ensuring proper technique to prevent injury and promote recovery.
  • Educate patients on the importance of proper body mechanics and effective home exercise programs to foster a successful rehabilitation experience.
  • Administer modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, following the protocols established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Monitor, document, and report patient progress meticulously, tracking improvements in strength, mobility, and overall function.
  • Prepare treatment areas and ensure therapy equipment is cleaned, organized, and functional for safe and efficient therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists, to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Support patients emotionally, encouraging them throughout their rehabilitation journey to foster a positive and motivating environment.
  • Adhere to all professional standards, including maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical practices throughout the clinical setting.
