Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Revitalize PT and Fitness Clinic, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Assisting Physical Therapists in developing and implementing tailored treatment plans for a variety of patients.
• Administering therapeutic exercises and functional activities aimed at improving patients' mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Monitoring and meticulously documenting patient progress, reactions, and modifications to therapy sessions to ensure compliance with HIPAA and insurance regulations.
• Educating patients on proper movement techniques and home exercise programs, reinforcing injury prevention strategies.
• Maintaining patient safety and comfort throughout therapy sessions, ensuring an empathetic approach to care is always upheld.
• Collaborating with PTs, doctors, and healthcare providers to ensure a well-rounded approach to treatment and optimal patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients who have undergone orthopedic surgeries, suffered sports injuries, or are dealing with chronic conditions affecting their physical abilities. The patient volume averages between one to two patients per hour, allowing for focused, individualized care. This environment not only allows the PTA to develop strong therapeutic relationships with patients but also enables effective monitoring of recovery progress.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program in Physical Therapist Assisting or a related field.
• A valid California PTA License.
• Strong foundational knowledge of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and rehabilitation protocols.
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, enabling seamless collaboration with other healthcare professionals and patients alike.

Preferred Experience
