Revitalize PT and Fitness Clinic is seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team in Los Gatos, California. This full-time position plays a crucial role in supporting physical therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services to patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. Work Environment

The PTA role is based in a hospital setting, where you will collaborate closely with licensed physical therapists, doctors, and other healthcare professionals. This onsite position involves working classic hours, specifically Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a stable and structured schedule that allows for work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

  • Implement tailored physical therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Provide therapeutic exercises and functional activities, monitoring patient performance and comfort throughout sessions.
  • Document and track patient progress, noting any changes in their condition and communicating these effectively to the supervising PT.
  • Educate patients about proper movement techniques, home exercises, and strategies for injury prevention, fostering self-management in their recovery.
  • Ensure a safe environment by continuously monitoring patients, addressing their comfort, and adapting treatments as necessary based on their responses.
  • Collaborate with PTs, doctors, and interdisciplinary team members to enhance the quality of care and promote the best patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in compliance with HIPAA and insurance requirements, utilizing electronic medical record systems effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The PTA will work primarily with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgical procedures, sports-related injuries, and chronic health issues. You will enjoy interacting with a variety of age groups and conditions, making each day unique. Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required.

Compensation and Benefits
