Work Environment

The work environment is onsite in a state-of-the-art hospital facility equipped with modern therapeutic equipment and technology. The office is open Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work schedule conducive to personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in executing treatment plans, ensuring that each patient's therapy goals are met through structured exercise and mobility techniques.
• Perform patient assessments and help gauge progress to inform ongoing treatment decisions, enhancing the effectiveness of rehabilitation strategies.
• Support patients through guided therapeutic exercises, balance training, and mobility techniques, promoting independence and functional improvement.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas, ensuring that all equipment is prepared and ready for use before sessions.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling patient appointments, maintaining accurate documentation in electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT, and processing billing information.
• Engage with patients and their families, providing education on treatment processes, home exercises, and overall wellness guidance, to foster a holistic approach to recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In the role of Physical Therapist Assistant, you will interact with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Completed an Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of California.
• Minimum of two years of experience working as a PTA in an outpatient setting, with proven skills in patient assessment and therapeutic engagement.
• Familiarity with computerized documentation and case management systems, particularly EMR systems like WebPT.

Compensation and Benefits
