Full job description

Our client, a manufacturing leader in the plastics industry, is seeking a Senior Production and Production Operator to join their team. As a Senior Production and Production Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Production and Production Operator

Location: Holden, MA

Pay Range: $22 to $28 upon job title and shift

Shift: 11PM - 7:30AM Sunday - Thursday, 3rd Shift
3:00pm to 11:30 pm Monday - Friday 2nd Shift

What's the Job?

  • Set up and operate machinery to blend and extrude chemicals into customer products.
  • Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications while maintaining efficiency.
  • Monitor equipment during production, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary adjustments.
  • Conduct visual inspections and take samples for quality control testing.
  • Complete all required documentation and SAP transactions accurately and timely.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing, specifically in plastics, colorant, mixing, or extrusion processes.
  • Forklift operator license or certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds regularly and handle up to 250 pounds occasionally.
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in reading, comprehension, and problem-solving techniques.
