Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Paragon is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Required skills include IVs, Foley catheters, and dressing changes.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Ortho experience preferred.

No previous employment is allowed at this facility.

Unit Details: Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:4 on medical-surgical and 1:6 on inpatient rehabilitation; these numbers are frequently adjusted by the level of care required by the patient and reviewed in staffing 2x/day. Common patient cases include total knees, hips, and shoulders, CVAs, encephalopathy, and lumbar fusions; clean medical-surgical patients are also taken when bed needs necessitate.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend is required. Holidays are rotated to allow all staff time to spend with their families. Self-scheduling is not available, but flexibility in schedules may be accommodated.

Floating Requirements: With low census, the clinician may remain on the unit or float to another medical-surgical unit in the hospital if there is a greater need for nursing staff; floating is limited to units with similar staffing ratios.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
