Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $1630 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Charge experience preferred. Preceptor experience preferred.

Unit Details: Equipment includes Baxter IV pumps and Welch Allyn vital signs machines. Procedures include ambulation of patients. Wound care is performed as needed. An admission/discharge team assists with the admitting and discharging process for Medical-Surgical patients.

Floating Requirements: Floating areas include Ortho Trauma (sister department) and Inpatient Rehab.
