Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physical therapists to implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients suffering from various physical conditions, such as post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain.
• Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises and stretches, ensuring correct techniques are utilized to maximize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Carefully monitor and document patients’ progress, maintaining accurate records that are crucial for ongoing treatment assessments and modifications.
• Educate patients and their families about at-home care protocols, exercise routines, and safety tips to reinforce therapy objectives.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by ensuring therapy equipment is properly sanitized, stored, and ready for use before and after each session.
• Adhere to all federal and state regulations along with HIPAA guidelines, fostering a compliant and ethical work atmosphere.

The PTA will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, elderly patients seeking improved mobility, and athletes needing rehabilitation after injuries. Qualifications

• Associates Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current PTA licensure in the state of California or eligibility to obtain one.
• CPR/BLS Certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
• Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is required for this role.

Compensation and Benefits
