<p><b>Volt</b> is immediately hiring for an <b>Direct Hire</b> <b>Assistant Engineer (Land Development)</b> in <b>Santa Clarita, CA. </b></p> <p>As an<b> Assistant</b> <b>Engineer</b>, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with engineering and drafting activities for civil engineering projects.</li> <li>Apply established engineering principles, standards, and procedures to assigned work.</li> <li>Prepare and revise drawings, plans, and project documentation using CADD software.</li> <li>Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of deliverables.</li> <li>Support project teams by researching and evaluating engineering alternatives.</li> <li>Collaborate with senior engineers to develop technical knowledge and project experience.</li> <li>Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities.</li> <li>Maintain project documentation and meet established deadlines.</li> </ul> <p>This is a <b>full-time, direct hire</b> opportunity.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will have:</p> <p><b>Required Skills & Qualifications</b></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.</li> <li>Strong understanding of engineering principles, mathematics, and design concepts.</li> <li>Experience using CADD and standard engineering software.</li> <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.</li> <li>Basic understanding of engineering drawings, graphics standards, and technical documentation.</li> <li>Knowledge of QA/QC processes and attention to detail.</li> <li>Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.</li> </ul> <p><b>Preferred Skills & Qualifications</b></p> <ul> <li>Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or successful completion of the FE/EIT examination.</li> <li>Internship, co-op, or academic project experience related to civil engineering.</li> <li>Familiarity with industry design standards and engineering best practices.</li> </ul> <p><b>Pay Rate: $65,000 - $75,000 annually </b></p> <p>Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.</p> <p>Qualified candidates should <b>APPLY NOW</b> for immediate consideration!
