Operating Room - Surgical Technologist - $2010 per week.

Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Orthopedic experience strongly preferred.

Unit Details: Assists in a variety of surgical procedures under the direct supervision of the surgeon and registered nurse. Must be able to perform scrub technician functions for all services and specialties. Responsibilities include operating room setup, instrumentation and equipment preparation, maintaining the sterile field, passing instruments and sterile supplies, specimen handling, patient transport and positioning, surgical dressings, room turnover and restocking, and preparing and labeling medications during procedures under surgeon/RN direction. May operate sterilizers, lights, suction, and assist with diagnostic equipment.

Shift & Scheduling: First contract: no call and no weekends. Second contract: one weekend shift (8 hours) with 8 hours of backup call. Third contract: one weekend shift with 8 hours of backup call and 8 hours of overnight call, plus one Friday night call (2200-0645) per schedule.

14 days maximum time off
