K-12 Academic Tutor and Mentor

City Year seeks an Academic Tutor and Mentor to support students’ academic and social-emotional growth in partner schools. In this full-time role, you will provide small-group and one-on-one tutoring in core subjects, reinforce classroom lessons, and track student progress. You’ll build trusting relationships, mentor students, and help create an inclusive, positive learning environment. Working closely with teachers and a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll receive training, coaching, and professional development while making a meaningful impact on students and school communities.
