Key Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans designed by supervising Physical Therapists, which may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and the application of modalities as needed.
• Assess patient progress and modify treatment approaches based on observable outcomes and patient feedback to meet their evolving needs.
• Instruct patients in proper techniques for physical therapy activities, ensuring they understand how to use therapeutic equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient care documentation while obtaining the necessary sign-off from supervising Physical Therapists, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Act as a vital communication link between patients and therapists, facilitating a comprehensive understanding of patient care and addressing any concerns promptly.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute insights and recommendations based on patient experiences and clinical observations.
• Perform all other support duties as assigned to enhance the operational efficiency of the department.

Qualifications

• An Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program is required.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in oncology rehabilitation is highly preferred, as this role necessitates understanding unique patient needs related to cancer recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 50,000 to 60,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
