Gotham Enterprises Ltd is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our multidisciplinary rehabilitation team at our state-of-the-art facility located in Henderson, Nevada. Work Environment
The Physical Therapist Assistant will primarily work onsite in a lively and collaborative healthcare setting. The role typically adheres to a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; however, flexibility is necessary to adapt to the fluctuating needs of our patients and clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities
As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Gotham Enterprises, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Assisting Physical Therapists in executing tailored treatment plans designed to enhance patients' mobility, strength, and function.
- Guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities that promote recovery, emphasizing safety and proper form.
- Educating patients about suitable body mechanics and home exercise programs to ensure continuity of care outside the clinic.
- Administering modalities, such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, in accordance with established therapeutic protocols under the supervision of Physical Therapists.
- Regularly monitoring and documenting patients' progress, tracking key metrics such as range of motion and strength, and providing insightful updates to the therapy team.
- Ensuring that treatment areas are properly prepared and equipped, maintaining an organized workspace for therapy sessions.
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to provide integrated patient care and optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
- Offering emotional support and encouragement to patients, fostering a motivating and positive rehabilitation experience.
- Upholding the highest ethical and professional standards of care, ensuring patient confidentiality and respect for their rights.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this dynamic role, you will work closely with a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatric to geriatric individuals. Each patient's unique rehabilitation journey will require you to adapt your approach to meet individual physical needs and therapeutic goals, ensuring that every person receives the dignity and respect they deserve as they work towards recovery.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with an Associate degree.
- Holds a valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Solid understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic interventions.
- Competence in implementing therapeutic exercises and techniques under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with patients and seamlessly collaborating with a healthcare team.
- A compassionate, patient-centered approach with a genuine desire to assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.
- A willingness to adapt treatment plans according to varied patient populations and conditions.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
