Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2070 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Familiarity with cardiac medications/drips is preferred.

Special Requests: Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

Unit Details: The unit is a cardiac med-surg unit. Titrated cardiac drips include Cardizem and heparin; non-titratable drips include dopamine, dobutamine, and amiodarone. Uses AirStrip for telemetry. Equipment includes GE telemetry and Rover, portable WOWs, and a Welch-Allen VS machine. A 12-lead EKG is present on the unit.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 48 per week will be accepted. The schedule includes 3-4 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period.

Floating Requirements: Floating is on a rotational basis with other travel nurses.
