Work Environment
This full-time position is based onsite at our well-equipped hospital facility in Los Gatos. You will work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent schedule. Key Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that cater to the specific needs of patients with orthopedic conditions.
- Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities such as manual therapy techniques under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists to facilitate patient recovery.
- Monitor patient progress, documenting key information to support ongoing adjustments to treatment protocols and contribute to improved patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on effective exercise techniques, injury prevention strategies, and safe movement patterns to elevate their overall health.
- Set up and operate therapeutic equipment, ensuring its safety and correct usage during sessions to maximize patient benefit.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering strictly to clinic policies regarding documentation and confidentiality.
- Engage in effective communication with patients and their families to clarify treatment goals, progress, and answer any questions they may have.
- Help maintain a clean and organized treatment area, contributing to the overall operational efficiency of the clinic.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, which can include post-surgical rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, and general musculoskeletal impairments. Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License in the state of California.
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation techniques and modalities.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse patients and interdisciplinary team members.
- Possess a compassionate, patient-focused attitude, prioritizing the delivery of exceptional care.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive annual salary in the range of $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, our benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, generous paid time off (PTO), sick leave, and paid holidays.
