Key Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans, incorporating both therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques.
• Guide patients during rehabilitation sessions, encouraging them to perform exercises correctly and safely while providing motivation and support.
• Educate patients on injury prevention strategies and home exercise programs to facilitate ongoing recovery and movement enhancement.
• Document patient progress meticulously in electronic medical records (EMR), ensuring that all treatment notes and updates are accurate and timely.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and collaborative strategies, promoting continuous professional development.
• Adapt treatments as necessary based on patient feedback and clinical judgement, ensuring that care remains tailored to individual needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily engage with a diverse population of orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Associate’s Degree program for Physical Therapist Assistants.
• Current and active PTA license for the state of California.

• Strong knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT or similar applications.
• Proven ability to perform hands-on therapy techniques, ensuring patient safety and effectiveness.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
