Work Environment

This PTA position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art hospital facility in Belmont, California. Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in conducting patient assessments and formulating individualized treatment plans based on clinical needs.
• Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises and techniques to promote healing and mobility restoration.
• Implement manual therapy interventions as directed by supervising therapists to enhance patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes, home exercise regimens, and preventative measures for injury recurrence.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare providers to optimize patient care and address any concerns that arise.
• Adjust treatment plans based on patient feedback and progress, demonstrating clinical reasoning and patient-centered care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with a diverse patient population suffering from musculoskeletal injuries and post-operative recovery needs. Our patients range from athletes recovering from sports injuries to elderly individuals seeking rehabilitation after hip or knee surgery. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program is required.
• Active Physical Therapist Assistant licensure in the state of California.

• A solid grasp of electronic medical record systems, such as WebPT, is essential for maintaining accurate patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits
