All About Balance Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic orthopedic outpatient office located in Santa Clara, California. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a great work-life balance while ensuring consistent patient care during business hours.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, your role will encompass a range of crucial tasks aimed at enhancing the rehabilitation process:

  • Assist licensed physical therapists in executing comprehensive treatment plans tailored for individual patients, ensuring adherence to best practices and protocols.
  • Conduct patient assessments to evaluate progress and adapt treatment approaches as necessary.
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, balance training, and mobility techniques, providing encouragement and education to promote optimal recovery.
  • Prepare therapy areas, maintain cleanliness and order, and ensure all necessary equipment is ready for use.
  • Engage in administrative duties, such as updating patient records, managing scheduling, and documenting treatment outcomes in electronic medical records (EMR) systems like WebPT.

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Holding an Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited institution.

  • A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient therapeutic setting.

Preferred Experience
