Key Responsibilities

• Implement and assist in executing treatment plans as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist, utilizing specialized therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas to provide a safe and clean environment for therapy sessions.
• Conduct initial patient assessments and consistently track progress, documenting developments accurately to update the therapy team on patient outcomes.
• Facilitate patient intake and manage scheduling to optimize clinic flow and enhance patient experiences.
• Educate patients on appropriate exercises and rehabilitation techniques, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with a diverse range of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited institution.
• Possession of an active PTA license in California.
• A minimum of two years of experience working in an outpatient therapy setting, demonstrating a solid foundation in patient care and rehabilitation practices.
• Proficient in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, to facilitate effective documentation and patient management.
• Demonstrated strong manual therapy skills and the ability to adapt techniques based on individual patient requirements.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with diverse patient demographics and varying rehabilitation needs.
• Familiarity with advanced therapeutic modalities and techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
