Work Environment

Located in beautiful Naples, Florida, our hospital facility is equipped with state-of-the-art therapy equipment and resources essential for delivering effective physical therapy care. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. As a full-time PTA, you will be integral to a multidisciplinary healthcare team dedicated to improving patient health and wellness in a supportive onsite environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in implementing personalized therapy plans, ensuring that each patient's treatment goals are met effectively and efficiently.
• Administer therapeutic treatments, exercises, and modalities designed to improve patient outcomes, while continuously monitoring progress and adjusting approaches as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting treatment sessions and patient progress in compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with both patients and the healthcare team, providing updates on patient status and collaborating to optimize treatment strategies.
• Educate patients and their families about therapy protocols, self-care techniques, and preventive measures to enhance overall health and reduce the risk of re-injury.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with orthopedic outpatient cases, assisting patients recovering from surgeries and injuries. Our patient demographic includes a diverse range of individuals, from athletes seeking rehabilitation to older adults aiming to maintain mobility and independence. Your role will be vital in helping these patients achieve their recovery goals and improve their quality of life through effective therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited program, or equivalent state-approved education recognized by Florida.
• Current Florida State Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) License.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating competence in physical therapy procedures and patient care protocols.
• Strong foundation in therapeutic techniques and a thorough understanding of senior care protocols, enhancing service delivery to our diverse patient base.

Compensation and Benefits
