Position Overview
Fortis Motion LLC is excited to announce an opening for a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Sherman Oaks, California. As a key player in our outpatient clinic, you will work alongside licensed Physical Therapists to provide essential therapy services that empower our patients to achieve greater mobility, strength, and overall well-being. Your role will focus on delivering personalized therapy in a supportive environment where every patient's progress is celebrated.

Work Environment
This position is onsite at our state-of-the-art hospital facility located in Sherman Oaks. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured yet dynamic work environment. Our facility is equipped with various rehabilitation tools and technologies, creating a high-energy atmosphere conducive to patient motivation and engagement. Each day will present new challenges as you work directly with patients in a fast-paced setting, ensuring they receive attentive and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver skilled, evidence-based therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, ensuring adherence to best practices in patient care.
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans that focus on improving patients' overall function, mobility, and well-being.
- Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adapting therapy activities based on real-time assessments and feedback.
- Collaborate closely with your supervising PT and the interdisciplinary team to ensure that patient outcomes are optimal and align with treatment goals.
- Educate patients and their families on appropriate exercises and techniques to maintain and enhance their progress outside of therapy sessions.
- Create an emotionally supportive and motivating environment that encourages patient engagement and trust throughout the therapeutic process.

Our clinic serves a diverse population that includes both adults and children facing various physical challenges. We specialize in rehabilitation for post-operative patients, individuals with orthopedic issues, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and more. Qualifications
- Graduation from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Possession of a current California PTA license or equivalent, or confirmation that license application is underway.
- A strong passion for helping others, demonstrated through excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when required.
- Competence in fast-paced and high-energy outpatient clinic environments, maintaining focus and quality of care under pressure.
- Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain certification before starting).
Preferred Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a PTA in an outpatient or clinical setting, with a proven track record of delivering excellent patient care.
- Experience in diverse therapy modalities and treatment approaches is a plus, allowing for a robust contribution to our patients’ recovery processes.
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
