Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and proficient Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our compassionate rehabilitation team in Anaheim, California. Work Environment

This position is based in our hospital's rehabilitation center in Anaheim, where you will work in a collaborative environment with healthcare professionals including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists. Our work hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required to accommodate patient needs. The facility is designed to foster recovery, equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment and technologies that support a range of therapeutic modalities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Physical Therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients, focusing on restoring mobility, enhancing strength, and improving functionality.
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and stretches, closely monitoring their technique to ensure safety and maximum effectiveness in their rehabilitation journeys.
  • Educate patients on proper body mechanics and effective home exercise programs that help facilitate their recovery outside of therapy sessions.
  • Administer therapeutic modalities like electrical stimulation and ultrasound under the supervision of the Physical Therapist, ensuring that patients receive the most suitable treatment for their needs.
  • Document patient progress meticulously, tracking improvements in range of motion, strength, and functional capabilities, and contribute to their care plan adjustments based on your observations.
  • Prepare treatment areas by organizing equipment and supplies and maintaining a clean and safe environment conducive to patient care.
  • Collaborate within the interdisciplinary team to develop cohesive care strategies and optimize patient outcomes across various conditions.
  • Provide emotional support and motivation to patients during their rehabilitation processes, creating a positive atmosphere that encourages progress.
  • Maintain high ethical standards by ensuring patient confidentiality, respecting their rights, and professionally interacting with all stakeholders.

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, age-related concerns, sports injuries, and post-operative procedures. Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • A valid state certification or licensing as a Physical Therapist Assistant is required.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 50,000 to 65,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
