Work Environment

You will be working onsite in a hospital facility that boasts modern equipment and is fully equipped to handle a diverse range of patient needs. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will:

• Implement personalized treatment plans developed by licensed physical therapists, ensuring adherence to guidelines specific to each patient’s needs.
• Utilize effective modalities, such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation, to assist in patient rehabilitation.
• Educate and train patients on therapeutic exercises, techniques for safe ambulation, activities of daily living, and the proper use of adaptive equipment.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient progress through ongoing clinical notes and reports.
• Make referrals to specialized services when needed, ensuring holistic care beyond physical therapy.
• Attend continuing education programs and in-service training sessions to keep up-to-date with the latest physical therapy advancements.
• Collaborate with supervising therapists to evaluate patients and respond to any changes in their condition in accordance with state regulations.
• Participate in clinical team meetings to enhance communication about patient care initiatives.

Qualifications

To be considered for this vital role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program is required.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
