In this full-time, onsite position within our hospital's rehabilitation department, you will collaborate closely with licensed Physical Therapists to offer exceptional care to patients recovering from various musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed Physical Therapists in the implementation of individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s specific needs.

  • Perform therapeutic exercises, assist with modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, and guide patients through functional training under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

  • Monitor and record patients' progress, documenting outcomes accurately and promptly addressing any changes in condition or concerns with the supervising PT.

  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, safe mobility techniques, and comprehensive home exercise programs to promote ongoing recovery and independence.

  • Engage in regular communication with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and holistic care for all patients, contributing to combined treatment strategies.

  • Maintain accurate and organized patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Qualifications
