Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to obtain a detailed understanding of their needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Assist physical therapists in implementing effective therapeutic interventions such as exercises, stretching techniques, and manual therapy to enhance patient recovery and mobility.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols, home exercise programs, and strategies to manage pain during the recovery journey.
• Document patient progress meticulously, making necessary modifications to care plans based on observed outcomes and in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Foster collaboration with healthcare professionals and actively participate in team meetings to discuss patient status and refine approaches to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients undergoing rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions, such as sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain management. Our patient population is diverse, encompassing individuals of various ages and backgrounds. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current Florida Physical Therapist Assistant License.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a physical therapy setting is required.
• Must have the ability to manage a caseload of 1-2 patients per hour, ensuring high-quality individualized care.

Preferred Experience

While 2 years of experience is required, preference will be given to candidates who possess additional certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques or experience within hospital settings.
