Phyxable PT LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to enhance our team in Estero, Florida. In this full-time position, the PTA will work directly with physical therapists to implement therapeutic plans, ensuring an optimal recovery environment for patients in our hospital setting. Work Environment

The position is onsite at our dynamic facility located in Estero, Florida, a vibrant community known for its focus on health and wellness. The hospital environment ensures that our team has access to the resources and equipment necessary for providing high-quality rehabilitation services. Our team works Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering a structured yet rewarding work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with physical therapists to implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities, ensuring procedures align with prescribed standards, while observing patients' responses.
  • Monitor, document, and report patient progress, identifying improvements and challenges to the supervising therapist for ongoing evaluation.
  • Educate patients and their families on proper self-care techniques and exercise regimens that can be continued at home.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
  • Assist in administrative duties, such as scheduling appointments, conducting patient intake, and managing billing and insurance processes.
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of therapy equipment, adhering to safety and infection control protocols.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, fostering trust and enhancing their overall therapy experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, injuries, and chronic conditions. Each patient presents unique challenges, and your expertise will help them navigate their rehabilitation process effectively, ensuring their maximal functional recovery and return to daily activities.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assistance from an accredited program.
  • Active and valid PTA licensure in the state of Florida.
  • Comprehensive understanding of physical therapy principles and practices, as well as comfort with therapeutic modalities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, ideally within a hospital or rehabilitation facility.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
