Work Environment

This full-time position operates within a hospital setting, emphasizing hands-on patient interaction and teamwork. Work hours are typically Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility needed to meet patient demands or accommodate special clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Access Health Care Solutions, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure effective patient care:

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities that promote recovery and pain management, employing motivational techniques to maintain patient engagement.
• Educate patients about proper body mechanics and the execution of home exercise programs that support their rehabilitation.
• Administer modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Maintain detailed records of patient progress, tracking improvements in range of motion, strength, and overall functional ability.
• Prepare treatment areas, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are organized and ready for effective therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and nursing staff to ensure patient-centered care.
• Foster a supportive and encouraging therapeutic environment that motivates patients and enhances their recovery experiences.
• Uphold the highest ethical standards in patient confidentiality and respect for patient rights.

You will work with a diverse patient population including children, adults, and seniors, each requiring tailored therapeutic approaches based on their unique conditions. Qualifications

To be considered for the Physical Therapist Assistant position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Hold an Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Possess a valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various therapeutic interventions relevant to physical therapy practices.
• Experience and proficiency in administering therapeutic exercises and modalities under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Compensation and Benefits
