Mend Force Physical Therapy is looking for a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team at our Nutley, New Jersey location. Key Responsibilities
- Implement therapy programs as outlined by the supervising Physical Therapist, focusing on enhancing patient mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities, ensuring compliance with the physical therapist's directives.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and responses using our electronic medical record (EMR) system, aiding in continuity of care.
- Educate patients on safe exercise techniques, posture, and home exercise regimens to maintain progress between sessions.
- Collaborate with physical therapists, clinic aides, and administrative staff to optimize patient care and clinic operations.
- Regularly assess patient progress by monitoring improvements and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans, communicating changes to physicians and families.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your role as a PTA will involve working primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, surgeries, and sports-related injuries. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse patient demographics, including children, adults, and seniors, each with unique recovery goals. Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Licensure: Must hold a current, valid Physical Therapist Assistant license from the state of New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits
