Key Responsibilities
As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will assume a variety of crucial responsibilities including:
- Administering outpatient-level therapy services to patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
- Developing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with licensed physical therapists that focus on enhancing strength, mobility, balance, and pain management.
- Utilizing therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to treat individuals with injuries, pain, or movement dysfunctions.
- Conducting one-on-one sessions with patients that emphasize individualized attention, allowing you to deliver exceptional care and observe patient progress closely.
- Delivering therapy in diverse settings—including patients’ homes, parks, and fitness centers—to ensure that care is relevant to their everyday lives.
- Engaging in thorough documentation of patient progress and communicating effectively with referring physicians and other healthcare team members to coordinate ongoing care.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our patient demographic ranges from individuals recovering from various orthopedic surgeries to active older adults focusing on mobility and injury prevention. In your role, you will work predominantly with post-operative patients, those with chronic pain, and clientele seeking improved physical fitness, all requiring tailored interventions to foster independence and facilitate holistic wellness.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- A valid and current Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of California.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to ensure effective patient interaction and documentation.
- A strong results-oriented mindset complemented by critical thinking skills necessary for problem-solving in patient care.
- A high degree of comfort with technology, enabling efficient use of medical software and rehabilitation equipment.

Preferred Experience
While we welcome new graduates, preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of two years of relevant experience in outpatient therapy settings. This experience should include working with diverse patient populations and familiarity with contemporary rehabilitation practices.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
