Key Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans designed to address specific patient needs and goals.
  • Execute therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities as prescribed, ensuring the highest standards of care are met.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, including recording treatment responses and objective measurements, to provide accurate and timely feedback to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Educate patients regarding safe exercise techniques, body mechanics, and injury prevention strategies to enhance their understanding of the recovery process.
  • Set up and operate therapeutic equipment, ensuring that all tools are maintained in a clean and organized manner for optimal patient use.
  • Handle administrative responsibilities such as scheduling patient appointments and managing electronic patient records as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment within the treatment areas, restocking supplies and equipment as necessary to ensure continuous operations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve assisting patients recovering from various conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, athletic injuries, and chronic pain management. You will see a managed volume of 1-2 patients per hour, allowing you to provide personalized attention and care. Our diverse patient demographic includes individuals of all ages, from children to seniors, each facing unique rehabilitation challenges. Qualifications

  • Valid California State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Strong understanding of physical therapy techniques, modalities, and treatment methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues alike.
  • Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and work independently, demonstrating sound decision-making skills.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification is required for this position.

Compensation and Benefits
