Work Environment

This position is onsite at our modern outpatient office in the vibrant community of Elmwood Park, New Jersey. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life experience. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will collaborate with a team of passionate healthcare professionals, including licensed Physical Therapists, administrative staff, and fellow PTAs, all working together to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Physic Rehab Services LLC, you will:

• Assist in the implementation of treatment plans as established by the supervising Physical Therapist, ensuring each patient's unique needs are met.
• Evaluate patient progress through regular chart reviews and assessments, providing feedback and adjustments to the treatment process as necessary.
• Perform various therapeutic procedures and interventions, demonstrating a thorough understanding of orthopedic protocols and safety standards.
• Document all patient encounters and treatment sessions accurately in our electronic health record (EHR) system, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Engage in patient education by instructing patients and their families on exercises and home care practices to promote recovery and prevent re-injury.
• Maintain and update patient files, ensuring all documentation reflects current treatments and outcomes.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and contribute to multidisciplinary care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our typical patient population includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• A current and active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits
