Work Environment
As a member of our onsite healthcare team, the Physical Therapist Assistant will work within a state-of-the-art rehabilitation setting that fosters both professional development and teamwork. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing tailored treatment programs, ensuring adherence to best practices and established protocols.
- Provide hands-on patient care through therapeutic interventions, including exercises and modalities, under the supervision of the physical therapist.
- Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation exercises and strategies aimed at promoting healing and preventing injury.
- Document patient progress meticulously during therapy sessions, ensuring accurate records that support care continuity and quality improvement.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and medical staff, to develop comprehensive care plans that address each patient's unique needs.
- Utilize evidence-based techniques, such as trigger point therapy and manual therapy, when appropriate to enhance patient outcomes.
- Support the facility's occupational health initiatives by encouraging patients to engage in overall wellness and health maintenance strategies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
