Work Environment

You will be working onsite in a hospital setting, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff. You will experience a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with minimal weekend commitments, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist physical therapists in implementing tailored treatment programs designed for individual patient needs, ensuring effective delivery of therapeutic modalities.
  • Provide hands-on therapy techniques—such as exercises, manual therapy, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation—under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
  • Educate patients on at-home exercises and rehabilitation activities, empowering them to engage actively in their recovery.
  • Closely monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary based on observed outcomes and feedback.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to devise integrated care plans that ensure comprehensive patient support throughout their recovery journey.
  • Utilize trigger point therapy techniques when appropriate, offering targeted pain relief and enhanced mobility for patients suffering from muscle tension.
  • Support initiatives related to occupational health, working alongside team members to ensure safe, effective rehabilitation practices within the facility.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
