Work Environment

The position will be on-site in our hospital facility, where you will work 40 to 45 hours per week, generally from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and adhering to the individualized Plan of Care as developed by the Physical Therapist (PT).
• Provide hands-on manual therapy and functional exercises tailored to each patient’s specific needs, focusing on recovery of mobility and function.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of patient progress, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations as well as billing practices.
• Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team, including physicians and rehabilitation specialists, to deliver personalized care.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and the recovery process, establishing a strong therapeutic relationship.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The PTA will primarily work with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Qualifications

• NYS Licensure: Must possess a current New York State License for Physical Therapy Assistants.
• Educational Background: Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program is required.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 50,000 to 60,000 per year, with opportunities for additional productivity bonuses. Our benefits package includes:
