Senior Flex Therapy Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our esteemed team in Riverside, California. In this full-time role, you will work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to implement and support customized rehabilitation programs for our patients. Work Environment
This role is based onsite at our hospital facility, which features state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment and private treatment rooms designed for optimal patient care. Our working hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed Physical Therapists in the execution of treatment plans, employing therapeutic techniques and modalities tailored to individual patient needs.
- Continuously assess and monitor patient progress, providing feedback to the supervising Physical Therapist on any changes in their condition.
- Accurately document therapy sessions and patient interactions in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate and motivate patients through therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities, encouraging them to engage actively in their recovery process.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in all therapy areas and ensure that equipment is properly set up and functioning to facilitate effective treatment.
- Engage in collaborative discussions with the clinical team to ensure comprehensive patient care and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings.
Patient Population / Client Focus
At Senior Flex Therapy Center, you will work with a diverse patient population, ranging from post-operative individuals to those with chronic pain conditions and age-related mobility issues. Your role will involve adapting therapeutic techniques to meet the unique needs of each patient, focusing on restoring function and enhancing their overall quality of life.
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of California is required.
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program, providing a solid foundation in physical therapy principles and practices.

Preferred Experience
