Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at a hospital environment, providing a dynamic and supportive atmosphere for both staff and patients. Our team operates from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required to meet the individual needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Licensed Physical Therapist in executing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Carrying out routine therapeutic procedures such as therapeutic exercises, modalities, and functional training based on planned programs.
  • Monitoring patient progress, observing, and accurately documenting any changes in conditions or responses during treatment sessions.
  • Reporting findings and concerns to the supervising therapist to inform adjustments to treatment strategies.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adult patients experiencing orthopedic conditions, such as post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Qualifications

To join our dedicated team, you should have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • A current and unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Virginia or the ability to obtain the necessary credentials.

Preferred Experience
